A Family Recipe That Started It All
Wing Snob was born in 2011 in Warren, Michigan when founder Marcus Webb decided the world deserved better wings. What started as a weekend ritual — perfecting his grandmother's hot sauce recipe in his backyard — quickly turned into something far bigger than he imagined.
After friends and neighbors couldn't stop talking about the wings, Marcus took the leap and opened our first location on Van Dyke Ave. The philosophy was simple: use only fresh, never-frozen chicken, mix sauces from scratch daily, and treat every customer like family.

From Backyard to Warren's Best
The First Wing Was Fried
Marcus Webb opens Wing Snob at 30800 Van Dyke Ave with just six sauce flavors, three tables, and a whole lot of heart. Word of mouth lines stretch around the block within the first week.
The Sauce Lab Is Born
We dedicated an entire station to sauce innovation — experimenting with dry rubs, fermented hot sauces, and regional flavors. Our signature "Midnight Heat" sauce becomes a local legend.
Warren's Favorite Restaurant
Wing Snob wins the Warren Macomb County "Best Wings" award for the first time — kicking off a five-year consecutive streak. We expand seating and add a catering program.
Online Ordering Launches
We launch our online ordering platform, making it easier for the whole Metro Detroit area to get Wing Snob delivered hot and fresh to their door. Orders triple in the first year.
Expansion & Menu Growth
We add 15 new menu items including boneless wings, loaded fries, and our fan-favorite wing flights. The kitchen is renovated and kitchen capacity doubles to meet demand.
